VERNON, NY-Utica-Rome Speedway officials knew that when the decision was made to combine the Pro Stocks and Pure Stock divisions at the end of the 2014 season that it would be a work in progress to maintain competitive balance. After several months of racing and several options being discussed, officials have made their first change in the Pro Street Stock rules that will be effective immediately starting with the racing event on August 2.

Any Pro Street Stock utilizing a Bert transmission must weigh 3,150 lbs. at the conclusion of the racing event with no tolerance given. Track scales are the official scales and are final.
