VERNON, NY- With overnight rain and a forecast that called for more of the same for the remainder of the day, Utica-Rome Speedway officials have cancelled today’s racing program. The May 31 program was to be presented by NAPA Auto Parts and Gates-Cole Insurance which featured a regular program of Stampede Steakhouse Modifieds, 602 Sportsman, Open Sportsman, and Pro Street Stocks.

Next Sunday, June 7, Hi-Skor Lanes and Joe’s Jerky will present another exciting show of Stampede Steakhouse Modifieds, 602 Sportsman, Open Sportsman, and Pro Street Stocks. Race action will begin at 6 p.m. after gates opening at 3:30 p.m.
