VERNON, NY – Thunder week.

The F.X. Caprara Car Companies Thunder on the Thruway Series continues this Friday, June 21 at Utica-Rome Speedway.

Parks Companies presents Round No. 4 of the Thunder on the Thruway Series at the ‘Home of Heroes.’

Savannah, N.Y.’s Matt Sheppard, fresh off his fifth win of the season, leads the 3 Bastards Brewing Modified Utica-Rome Speedway standings while Potsdam, N.Y.’s Michael Maresca continues to pace the Thunder on the Thruway standings.

The 3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds race for 30 laps and a $4,000 top prize on Parks Companies Night.

The Taylor’s Trailers LLC Crate 602 Sportsman (25 laps, $1,500-to-win) and Next Generation Graphix Pro Stocks (20 laps, $1,000-to-win) are also on the docket for Round No. 4 of the F.X. Caprara Car Companies Thunder on the Thruway Series.

Clayton DuMond picked up last Friday’s win at Utica-Rome with the Crate 602 Sportsman, the first of his career at the Route 5 oval.

Devon Camenga meanwhile claimed last Friday’s Pro Stock victory, the second of his career, with the first coming just three weeks prior.

The Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman, Fonda Fair Four Cylinders, and Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modifieds round out the Friday night of racing.

For the June 21 event, all gates open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are slated for 6:45 p.m. and racing will follow at 7:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $20 for Adults, $18 for Seniors (ages 65 & up) and Kids 11 and under get in FREE.

Pit admission is $40 for Non-Members, $35 for Members, $10 for Kids (ages 6-12), and $2 and for Children 5 and under.

The event will be broadcast live on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv).
