VERNON, NY – Tonight’s August 25 racing program has been cancelled.

A patch of storms formed over Central New York in the early afternoon and intensified as the afternoon went on.

Racing will resume on Friday, Sept. 1 with A-Verdi Storage Containers presenting a full night of racing.

The 3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds, Worthington Industries Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation Graphix Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman, and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders are all on the racing card on the half-mile oval.

The Senior Services Inc. All-Star Slingshots and Junior Slingshots join the program on the inner oval for their championship night.

Two days later, on Sunday Sept. 3, the Moteloc LLC. presents the ‘New Yorker.’ The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By Sunoco is in town for Round No. 2 of the Ollie’s Elite Series and Round No. 9 of the River Valley Builders North Region.

The STSS Modifieds go for 50-laps and a $12,000 top prize.

Also on the card are the Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman, Next Generation Graphix Pro Stocks, Senior Services Inc. All-Star Slingshots and Junior Slingshots (non-points).
