VERNON, NY – A $3,000 top prize awaits the 3 Bastards Brewing Modified winner this Friday night, Aug. 11, as Utica-Rome Speedway roars into the ‘Dog Days of Summer’ with a complete NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program.

Algonkin Motel/Slade Automotive and the Friendly Family of Dealerships present the action at the Home of Heroes.

The big-block/small-block Modifieds race 30 laps for an increased $3,000 winner’s share.  Also in competition on the half-mile oval are Worthington Industries Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation GraphiX Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.

The inner oval will be utilized for Senior Services Inc. Allstar Slingshots and Junior Slingshots.

Gates open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:45 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $15. Seniors (ages 65 and over) pay $13. Kids 11 and under are FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (ages 13 and up), $35 (NASCAR or Utica-Rome Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 Children (ages 5 and under).

Friday’s event – and all races at Utica-Rome Speedway – are broadcast LIVE on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv) via the annual subscription.
