VERNON, NY – All-Star incoming.

For the second consecutive year, the Tezos All-Star Circuit of Champion (ASCoC) 410 Sprint Cars visit Utica-Rome Speedway on Saturday, August 19.

Scenic View Campground/Christian Fabrication & Broedel Energy present the visit from the nationwide 410 Sprint Car Series following a thrilling show in the 2022 event.

Justin Peck, Brent Marks, and Tyler Courtney all took turns with the lead before Peck set sail late to take home the $10,000 top prize.

Local favorite Danny Varin was on the move from the back of the field after experiencing problems in time trials, before taking an eventful tumble off the turn three embankment and into the trees.

The inaugural ASCoC visit occurred in 2010, when Fred Rahmer outgunned Tim Shaffer and Greg Wilson to claim the first ever 410 Sprint Car feature at Utica-Rome.

The ‘Steel City Outlaw’ Tim Shaffer, was victorious in 2012, avenging his runner-up finish two years prior. Current Modified regular at Utica-Rome Speedway, Jessica Friesen, was the runner-up, and Stevie Smith rounded out the top three.

This year the 410 Sprints return for another $10,000 winner’s share at the ‘Home of Heroes.’
