They’re Back: Sprint Cars Return to Utica-Rome Speedway Friday, July 14
VERNON, NY – Sprint Cars are back.
The A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprint Cars presented by Super Gen Products invade Utica-Rome Speedway this Friday, July 14, joining a complete program of NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series competition at the Home of Heroes sponsored by Westmoreland Golf Club and Pozzie’s Automotive Refinishing.
The traveling winged CRSA Sprint Cars had been scheduled to appear at Utica-Rome on June 9, but rain nixed that event.
The series returns this Friday in a $1,000-to-win I-90 Pit Stop Challenge Series event.
Hannibal, N.Y.’s Jordan Hutton leads both the CRSA standings and I-90 Pit Stop Challenge Series into Friday’s event. Canadian Tomy Moreau is the most recent CRSA Sprint Car winner, conquering Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, N.Y., on July 7.
3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds, Worthington Industries Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation GraphiX Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders will be in action on the half-mile oval.
Gates open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:45 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $18. Seniors (ages 65 and over) pay $16. Kids 11 and under are FREE.
Pit admission is $40 (ages 13 and up), $35 (NASCAR or Utica-Rome Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 Children (ages 5 and under).
Friday’s event – and all races at Utica-Rome Speedway – are broadcast LIVE on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv) via the annual subscription.
