The word is in from the track crew: practice is ON for Utica-Rome Speedway this Friday, April 22. For the first time, cars will hit the speedway under the new LED lighting installed over the winter months. All divisions are welcome. Both the outer half-mile and the Slingshot inner oval will be prepared.

Gates open at 5 p.m. Cars hit the track from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Pit admission is $25 for Utica-Rome members and $30 for non-members. Concessions will be open.

Grandstand admission is FREE.
