VERNON, NY – The Monster Truck Racing League is set to join a full program on Sunday night for the Broedel Fuel Group DIRTcar Sportsman, Ted’s Body Shop DIRTcar Pro Stocks and the Bernie’s Extreme Performance Parts in a jammed pack night of excitement presented by Federated Auto Parts.

Joining the Monster Truck Racing League is the Broedel Fuel Group DIRTcar Sportsman in a special non-point 20-lap affair.  Teams will draw for heat race starting positions as they enter the gates.  Several local drivers have committed to competing on Sunday night including current point leader Matt Janczuk, Travis Welch, Jimmy and Dave Moyer, Casey Cunningham, Mike Richmond and many more.  Fans are encouraged to come out and see the next generation of Utica-Rome Speedway stars.

Also on the card is a special 20-lap feature for the Ted’s Body Shop DIRTcar Pro Stocks.  They’ll be competing in a point event on the night.  They’ll be joined by the Bernie’s Extreme Performance Sportsman who will cap off the night with a 15-lap feature.

Race fans are encouraged to visit any one of the local Federated Auto Parts or Fisher Auto Parts stories to purchase their auto parts while also taking advantage of a special $10 admission ticket for entrance into the grandstands at the Utica-Rome Speedway.

The grandstands admission price for this event is $13. Pit prices for the event are $30. Pit gates will open at 4:30pm while spectator gates open at 5pm. Racing starts at 7pm.
